- Exploring the effects of broader national health policy (e.g. the ACA and repeal efforts) on the health care options for and health care consumption of veterans
- Analyzing the influences of Veterans Organizations and political institutions on the development of VA policy
- Examining trends in underlying fiscal expenditure patterns of the VHA
